Hopping the Atlantic: U.S. craft beers bring new styles to the already-saturated U.K.

The Active Junky team's explored the U.K. pub scene as both students and professionals.  With no lack of hand-drawn ales, resident beer lovers are gravitating to beers featuring U.S.-grown hops.  According to a recent story in the Wall Street Journal, American hops have more fragrant, citrus notes than the woodier British varieties.  U.S. brewers are doing tastings in cities once revered as the bastions of traditional brewing, with lots of room to grow their current 9.5% share of the market.  While Budweiser has flown the flag for decades, new brewers are pouring it on.
