We’ve long been fans of bike commuting, public transit and ride sharing. With AAA reporting 32 million vehicle breakdowns in the U.S. last year (as reported in TechCrunch), perhaps it’s time to rethink your transportation options. Or at least follow simple, regular maintenance schedules as found in owners’ manuals — and flagged by onboard warning lights and message. Flat tires are something tech-infused dashboard warnings can’t anticipate, while keeping the car’s smart key fob away from the vehicle is an easy way to prevent excessive battery drain.
