Two of our favorite things: tiny houses and big adventures. Legendary snowboarder Mike Basich has been snapping selfies before they were called selfies, setting up epic, remotely-triggered self-portraits—including a particularly insane shot of himself jumping out of a hovering helicopter. You can buy his coffee table book Frozen Chase on Amazon. The point is, there’s no athlete more qualified to be on the impressive GoPro roster, especially when it comes down to the photography itself.
Basich got himself a trailer, and then custom built one of the most shred-worthy tiny houses we’ve ever seen. All of the luxuries of a full size mountain house, minimized to chase pow around the continent. Basich tows the home up through Canada to the big mountain playground of Alaska for some spine-tingling spine runs. Now how’s that for a housewarming party?
