The most playful and aggressive riders look for boards that can do more than just handle every inch of snow on the mountain. The Total Ripper Series (TRS) is just that; all-terrain freestyle at its finest. The directional twin shape has a short rocker section between the feet to aid floatation and lengthened camber under the bindings to increase ollie power and stability. The TRS XC2 has great energy from tip to tail, popping and buttering with ease, plus just the right amount of torsional flex to ride aggressively without washing out. Testers claimed, “Throwing down on the TRS, everything seems inevitably stompable” and that the “solid ride is stable at high speed.” Lib Tech’s Magne-Traction (like a serrated knife edge) adds five extra points of contact along each edge (most boards have two) to provide more control; a feature that’s especially noticeable on slick, firm slopes but also helps create deep, dynamic carves on corduroy.
