Exploring Breckenridge with Tripadvisor
Here at Active Junky, we love exploring mountain towns across the West. On a recent trip to Breckenridge, Colorado we were looking for some activities to do on a rest day from skiing. We decided to check out some Things to Do on Tripadvisor. Immediately the Ridden Fat Bike Tour stood out as a must experience. Booking through Tripadvisor was a breeze and before we knew it we were getting fitted with helmets and some incredible Borealis Fat Bikes.
Starting at Ridden’s Downtown Breckenridge location on a beautiful sunny day we took off on various stops around town learning about the town's long history from our amazing guide Chris. We hit the snow-covered trail from town for an awesome downhill cruise to Breckenridge Distillery. After some tastings of their famous bourbons and vodkas, we hit the trail again. Cruising along the Blue River we made our way to the local watering hole of Broken Compass Brewing Company a quick tour of the brewery led us to the bar for a couple pints and a wrap on our adventure for the day.
