What can you say about Nike? The brand has been leading the sports industry for decades. From shoes to apparel you can always count on Nike gear being of the utmost quality and with style oozing from every seam. We were lucky enough to get our hands on this fitness outfit from Nike. We put it to the test from the mountains to the streets of Denver. Here’s how it held up.
Nike Wildhorse 6 Women's Trail Running Shoe Starting at: $110.37 These trail runners are a sight to behold. Bright colors and interesting design features are sure to turn heads whether you are on the trail or in town. Our tester took to the mountain singletrack and the urban gravel trails to put these shoes through their paces. She loved how quickly the shoes broke in making them ready for bigger adventures right out of the box. The shoes were quick to dry, so you don’t have to worry about having soggy feet all day after a creek crossing or traversing lingering snowfields. A lightweight shoe, but with a stiff lugged outsole to provide plenty of traction on a variety of trails. The foam midsole provides supportive cushioning to keep you comfortable on your feet all day.
Nike Icon Clash Women's Seamless Light-Support Sports Bra Starting at: $42.45 Like the Wildhorse shoes, this bra for those who like to stand out amongst the crowd with its bold colors and impressive styling. Our tester loved the compressive stretchy fabric that ensured everything stayed in place while working out. She commented on how high necked bras can often be uncomfortable, but this one was anything but uncomfortable. The option to use the bra with or without padding makes this piece incredibly versatile. We found the bra fit true to size, so you can be confident in your purchase. Overall the Icon Clash Sports Bra makes a great addition to your workout wardrobe, even better when paired with the leggings below.
Nike Sculpt Icon Clash Women's Seamless 7/8 Training Tights Starting at: $84.90 To complete this outfit you’ve got to have the leggings. Once again sporting bold colors and modern style you’ll be looking good and training good. With similar fabric as the sports bra, you get a tight-fitting almost compressive legging that’s equally suited to workouts and recovery. Our tester loved these leggings for HIIT workouts and runs in colder weather. These leggings are maybe not the best choice for trail running as they tend to get snagged on branches and bushes. However, if you are looking for a comfortable, stylish ⅞ length tight that is ready for any urban workout you can throw at them, these are your answer.
