A boxy, traditional-yet-futuristic TPU frame houses 9 rare earth magnets while lenses are embedded with another 9 for a multi-point attachment system. Bottom line: this is the easiest interchangeable lens system we’ve ever reviewed. A simple pinch and the lens releases. Testers noted that semi-hard falls and the trauma of international travel failed to shake the magnetic lens loose. One of the more expensive models in this Buyer’s Guide (spare lenses run you $90), the Anon M3 is a premium product that top skiers and riders will appreciate.
Lens Tech: Magnets aside, the clarity of the double-walled cylindrical lens was exceptional in a myriad of conditions. Anti-fog treatment and ventilation made certain moisture didn’t built up. Spring for a bright lens if your package comes with a low and medium light lens.
