The stuff sack has built in compression straps to help pack the bag down even smaller if you want to venture into the backcountry. After a few nights use we had no issues with the zipper which was a pleasant surprise as that is a common issue most sleeping bags face. For camping in moderate temperatures the Uinta really shines.
