Oakley Flight Deck XM Prizm

We’re excited to see the Flight Deck from Oakley. Loaded up with Oakley’s technological prowess, the Flight Deck shines with Prizm technology. Years of research went into developing Prizm, which is designed to promote the light we want to see and reduce the light wavelengths we don’t want in specific environments, whether they are stormy, overcast or bright sunny days. Effectively Prizm allows in good light that your eye processes well and blocks bad light that your eye is less effective at processing. In addition to the Prizm technology, The Flight Deck features an optically correct rimless lens. The rimless design pushed out the field of vision over previous models. In addition to the all-important optical clarity, Oakley beefs up the Flight Deck with an F3 anti-fog coating that offers a hydrophobic lens treatment, reducing the likelihood of a moisture buildup. The polycarbonate lens is formed with a specific contour to ensure visual fidelity. 

Compatible with most helmets on the market, the Flight Deck is designed for seamless integration with Oakley’s line of ski and ride helmets. A sticky rubber on the interior of the strap keeps the goggles in place on your helmet. The Flight Deck is offered in a dizzying array of colors suited for any style. Oakley’s Flight Deck goggles lenses are available in multiple colors and light transmissions for every riding condition. The Active Junky crew is interested in digging deeper and experimenting with the specific tints and VLT’s in differing riding conditions to test its promise of increased clarity and detail.
