Teva Original Universal Sandal

Ridiculous.  That’s Active Junky’s summary after revisiting this minimalist sandal in recent weeks.  At well under $50, an EVA footbed and Durabrasion rubber outsole trump no-name offerings in the traction and longevity departments.  Ankle and forefoot hook and loop adjustments turn mid-width polyester webbing into a secure fit across varied terrain. As the second pair in most travel scenarios, Universal provides welcome relief from skin-tight climbing shoes, heavier trekking boots or clompy cycling footwear.  Don’t walk past this one simply because of the (lower) price.  The Original is not about to be forgotten in the here-and-now.
