Protect our Winters (POW) has been in the hunt for more powder stashes and fewer power plant flashes since 2007. A ruling to require Hunter and Huntington plants, both located in Utah, to install pollution control systems is evidence a consortium of over 250 recreation and outdoor leaders is being heard.  Learn more about the organization’s work by visiting protectourwinters.org, knowing Active Junky’s been a big fan for years including leading a fundraising project among AJ members a few years back.
