A historic snowfall in the small ski town of Crested Butte left the town digging out from under 8 feet of snow that fell over the course of just 10 days. What started off as a slow season in the Central Colorado mountains was suddenly resurrected to become one of the snowiest Januarys on record. The Active Junky crew arrived in town just in time to reap the benefits of the recent snowfall. Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s steep slopes became the playground for our big mountain skiers to explore.
