Utah’s Desert Towers are seen by many and explored by few. Thanks to the technological advances of 4K resolution and the aerial cinematography skills of a few bold climbers, we’re now able to take in the grandeur of these stone skyscrapers from above.
Set to a cinematic score (truly: a song from The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford), aerial shots zoom in and out, showing both the intense intricacies of the rock formations and the enormity of the landscape itself.
Our favorite part of this short film? The role of the climbers. They’re far from the center point, coexisting with the towers instead of conquering them.
At the very least, this makes you want to grab your climbing buddy and go to Utah.
